CSC was the first self-storage manufacturer and installation company in Europe.
When Shurgard introduced the self-storage concept to Europe in 1995, they required a reliable steel construction partner for the installation of self-storage units. They selected CSC, an innovative and fast growing steel company founded in 1989.
Initially, CSC installed self-storage systems imported from US manufacturers. Based on this experience, opportunities were identified to improve quality, reliability and installation speed.
In 1998, CSC recruited a highly experienced installation manager with more than 20 years of expertise to develop a high quality self-storage system with premium steel, robust construction and efficient installation.
The CSC Premium self-storage system was launched in 2000, setting a new standard in durability and performance.
With innovation and quality in its DNA, CSC continued to create new opportunities for the self-storage market. The 2008–2010 financial crisis hit hard, but new shareholders joined in 2015 and recommitted to the original high-quality, reliable products. CSC was reborn and reclaimed its premium position among European self-storage manufacturers.
